Newbie 1st trip on Sunday for 1 day

Hi, I am going to the Park on Sunday for the 1st time. What is the best way to hit the rides to avoid the waits. I have seen a few tips like get there early and go clockwise, but is there a best order to go in. In othewords how to vist the park and get the most out of it in 1 day.

Which park are you going to visit? If its IOA, you'd be wise to either do WWoHP first thing or wait until evening when the crowds thin out. After WWoHP, you can either go through Jurassic Park or back through Seuss Landing. It doesn't really matter. If you're going to the Studios, start with the attractions in the front of the park (Shrek, T:2, Revenge of the Mummy) and work your way around.
