Yikes that's a big boat that Carnival Glory that will be sharing our time in Saint John. Does anyone know if the Long Wharf dock where the Magic will dock is close to all of the wharf shopping and promenade/walk areas? I think I'll ask this on the Eastern Canada site...

Woohoo! Paid off cruise last week and bought tickets to Mary Poppins. Bought a few lots of pins for trading over the weekend, and today I prepaid our tips.....It's getting closer!!!

Looking at Kimberly's spreadsheet not everyone that was on the FE list has entered their info. Do we know if that is all we have for now or are there some already signed up who haven't filled info out? Just hoping for as much info as we can get to plan for my FEs. Thanks!

I'm not sure why the others haven't posted their information. This is such a quiet thread that it's hard to keep up with who is still around...

On another note my daughter learned about the Titanic today and so I'm booking the Learn the Ropes excursion in Halifax that goes to the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic as they have the Titanic exhibits.

It includes the hop on hop off rides so we might find something to do that afternoon and "hop off" or maybe just a ride around Halifax and then back to the ship....still time to determine that, but at least I know which excursion I'm booking when that magical booking day comes.

As far as excursions go in Halifax we're doing the Top 10 Best of Halifax excursion and in Saint John we're probably going to do the Maple Sugar Shack thing.

I think the Maple Sugar thing is our top pick right now for Saint John as well. Just have to decide if we're going to do that or if we are going to just go out on our own...

I had to wait for one more paycheck before I can payoff the cruise. I have to send my mother a count every other day.

No problem. Not booking any Palo. Just me and my dd11 and I've never liked to eat alone, but can't wait to book our excursions.

Here's my info...just me and the hubby 2 40 something y/o's Would LOVE to participate in the FE...just explain what it is

There are two parts to our "cruise meet group". One is just to be part of the group. We chat here online about things having to do with the cruise and sometimes things not really having to do with it! Hopefully we'll meet up on the ship as well. Besides that, you can decide to be part of the subgroup, the Fish Extender group. FE for short. A fish extender is a pocketed hanging thing that you buy/make/create to hang off the fish hook beside your stateroom door. All members of the group get a list of who is participating, what stateroom number/s, how many in each room and ages, etc. Sometime during the cruise you go around and put your gifts for people in their fish extenders. The gifts you come prepared to give out seem to fall into a few categories:
1. things that are special to where you live
2. candy
3. small silly toys often Disney related or pirate related
4. handmade items also Disney related or cruise related
5. useful things like hand sanitizer, lip balm etc.

Hi there all - I am a veteran Disney fan, but first time on a Disney Cruise. My family wants to be sure to participate in the "fish extenders" (a new thing I had not known about) on this cruise. Can you tell me how to join in? How do I know how many to prepare for? Thanks for helping out a new girl! I am so excited for this cruise and feel all alone because the kids are not finding out about it until Christmas morning...so I have to share my excitement on this forum!
