New York City on New Years Eve, anyone ever done?

The whole no toilets thing is the reason I've never gone to the ball drop and never will! I can watch on local TV and then go outside and watch the illegal fireworks my neighbors shoot off the roof of the building.

NYC local here, would never, ever go near Times Square. Basically, you're locked into a block for up to 10 hours, no food, no toilets, lots of drunk people and people uh, wearing diapers.
