New York apartments

I hope I am posting on the right board here
we are a family of five heading to New York for 3 days before our trip to WDW this year in Oct
booked the flights before I checked out the Hotels prices , seems I will need 2 rooms ,
so i was thinking of renting a apartment instead
any one know of any good web sites that I can look at or apartments
we would like to stay in the middle of things

Unfortunately most apartment rentals are for at least a week in NYC.

Try Embassy Suites or Doubletree Suites, they will offer plenty of room for the five of you--and probably be larger than many NYC apartments!

We recently stayed at Hotel 414. It's a small, quiet hotel and a decent price. You may need 2 rooms, though. Breakfast each morning (coffee, cereal, pastries). Easy walk to Times Square. Here's a link:

having lived in Manhattan for a bit o' time I'll tell you that you will have much better luck getting two rooms in a hotel. They are safer, armed with cameras and doormen and cleaning people and continental breakfast...it is very, extraordinarily doubtful you would find an apartment to rent for 3 days and if you did, you don't have the security you would have at a hotel. Go to Priceline.com...you can find GREAT deals for NYC!!!

have a blast!!! Go to Central park...and don't miss 5th AVE...OH and the Naked Cowboy should be out in Times square...don't miss him...but don't pay him for a picture cuz...ew he's in his panties for Pete's sake OH and the HUGE Toys R Us in Times square is a blast...they have a Ferris wheel...

BTW...my grandparents live in Galway...they LOVE Donegal!!! I hope y'all have a fantastic trip!!!

The only way you'll get an actual apartment for only 3 nights is through one of the larger Churches (some of the biggies in Manhattan own several residential buildings where they can accommodate out of town guests), and even then, you have to know someone. Ask your local pastor, priest, or rabbi if they have connections. Maybe you might get lucky. Have a good trip.

Edited to add; sorry, just saw you're from Ireland. Probably not much of a chance of a connection. Enjoy New York no matter where you stay! It's a wonderful city!
