Hi,
Can anyone tell how crowded the park is the week after christmas to new years???Do they do anything special for the new years???Thanks.....
:bounce:

That is peak season, so it will be more crowded than usual. However, if you stay on site, you will be able to get everything done in no time! It's wonderful to have FOTL access. Also for New Year's I believe they have a special fireworks show, some of the restaurants have special meals/menus, and Citywalk is a jumping place to be!

That week is the BUSIEST week of the year. The first 2hrs (8a-10a) aren't too bad, but from 12p-8p is when the lines get LONG.

And for New Years, both parks and Citywalk have a combined fireworks show.

Plus there's a nightly fireworks show in each park around 950p from 12/26-12/30.

Hi,
We went to WDW last year for christmas, would you compare the crowds to MK on christmas day????Do you think this is a good time for the kids to go my boys are 12 and 5....I know new years is when alot of drinking goes on does universal allow drinking around the park....You know how people can get when they have to much to drink so if that is the case i would wait for another time to take the kids....

Christmas Day is busy, but not as busy as the day after.

On Christmas Day, you can expect waits to peak in the 30-45 range (+ -). On the day after, you can expect peak waits of 60-90+

It's the most wonderful time of the year...... :D
