New Years Live Stream was great

I caught the live Disney stream and I have to say, it was WAY better than any Time Square countdown!
I bet in person it is fantastic.
Anyone else see it ?

We watched it and loved it!! My son said it is way better than the ball drop we used to watch!!!!

It was great. I loved the music, and Mickey and Minnie counting down with Goofy was super.

The stream from past years has been better, IMO. They're pushing with making it a big commercial now. It'd also be nice if they could have some sort of feature where you can toggle between camera views, not switch when they feel like it.

Side note, I'm disappointed in the DPB because they never did get to EPCOT. They did the Osbourne lights, Star Wars, MVMCP and the NYE fireworks, but they just couldn't get to EPCOT to do Illuminations with the PoE tag?

Have to say I was extremely disappointed

1) We watched for a while.
2) And, FOR A WHILE it was pretty good.
3) Then, the commercial side of Disney came through.
4) Time for a drink and off to bed.
5) Disney wants to ruin this like they did for the Christmas Parade.

NOTE: This is the reason we watch the parades (Macy's and Rose) on HDTV - lack of commercials.

Agree, we decided after last years mass commercial for a parade that we would not waste our time or DVR space for this years event. The live streaming was better but, like Scupper, I noticed the usual increasing advertisement feel of things that I don't like.

But, still better than the Big Apple blah blah show.
