We will making the trip to BCV for new years eve. Has anyone been home for new years eve, who can tell us what would be a good to do that night. We have two children ages 11 & 8 . Thanks for you help and enjoy the holidays.

the MK would be very, very, very crowded - I would go with the park next door Epcot.

We did Epcot on Millennium Eve, and while it was packed, it was also WONDERFUL! I would definately do it again! Plan a PS for one of the World Showcase restaurants, and plan it early enough so you can get a good spot for Illuminations and the countdown. We did end up saving our spot for a couple of hours, and it wasn't a great spot, but it was fine. The other thing to consider when making dinner PS is the time it will be midnight in the "country" your restaurant is in! We were in Germany for a 6 pm seating, and that was also midnight in Germany, so we got caught up in all the reveling!!! It was quite confusing to get seated during that time!

We went to the MK for December 31, 2000. It was great but very crowded. The temp was 18 degrees at night! So the weather was very cold. We did not plan for a priority seating time -- figured counter service would be fine, but with the cold we so very much wished we had a place to sit down to be warm! So my recomendation is to make dining arrangements somehow!

You will love the celebration!

We as well did Epcot on the Millenium Eve....it was outstanding. Nothing like a marathon 17 hour day in epcot....For all of those who know what "going around the world" means, well, in 17 hours one can make it around twice...wooooo hooooooo!!!!!!  :yo-yo: :yo-yo:
