Hi,

Friend of mine will be visiting Disneyland Paris over new year. What special celebrations are there? They will be there from the 29th Dec-2nd Jan.
They will be staying onsite.

Do you need to book restaurants ( I am organising my trip to WDW for the same time, and I have all my restaurant booking done)-Is Disneyland Paris the same??

Sorry we are from Australia and have no idea, I am so happy I found the Dis:banana:

Any help greatly appreciated:flower3:

You can book your restaurant meals in advance, but you can also book them on the day itself in City Hall or in the restaurant of your choice.

The DLP website should provide you with restaurant information. Also if you google on the Disneyland Paris Ultimate Foodguide (I'm sorry, I can't post links yet, so I can't give it to you) you will get reviews by visitors of all the DLP restaurants (literally all of them) :)

As for the celebrations, I think they might be on the website already as well, if not, it might work to ring DLP and ask them about it.

Hope that helps!

I just can strongly advice your friend to book the restaurants in advance.
Its very very busy and I’m afraid that waiting until he ore she is there will be a great disappointment.
The most restaurants will be completely be booked by that time.

We went for new years in 2005 (into 2006).

Firstly they have a disco-esque thing down main street where they play some questionable pop music :rotfl: . After that the music stops and there is a countdown and then the new year is heralded in by an amazing firework display! :wizard:
