New Year's Eve @ WS

Do the individual countries at WS do a countdown for when it becomes the new year back in their country?Also,is Illuminations shown at 9:00 in addition to the fireworks show at midnight?Thanks.

We were there last year..and yes, they have a mini celebration in the countries when it gets to be their new year!
The fireworks are outstanding...
Be prepared to stay in the park though once you get it--we saw people camped out on the lawn etc b/c they didnt want to not be able to get back in!

Last year we had PS for THE Biergarten and at 12:00 time in Germany all of the CM's came out on the dance floor and celebrated New Years. IT WAS A REALLY COOL EXPERIENCE. I would try to have your PS for a country at their time for midnight.
