Hi-
We just returned from 3 days at Disney World and then the 4-night Disney cruise that left on New Years Eve. This was my family's 7th Disney cruise.
We had a lot of fun but the highlight this time for us was Captain Jack Sparrow. The guy who played him had his mannerisms and voice down to a tee! It was incredible. You can take photos with him on the ship on Pirate night or the best place to take photos with him is on Castaway Cay in front of the Flying Dutchman ship. We talked to him for awhile and I said, "Okay, Jack!" and he has said, "No, Love! It is CAPTAIN Jack Sparrow."
Also, a tip if you are taking the Blackbeard Cay Beach shore excursion at Nassau. Beware of the Sand Fleas!! I was wading in the water up to my knees with my son and when I came out of the water, I noticed a bunch of red dots on my legs. 2 days later my legs swelled up with sores all over them and it itches and looks identical to chicken pox. I did a google search and others had posted reviews of the same shore excursion and said it was sand fleas that had bitten them and they described exactly what mine looked like. My son had no bites whatsoever, thankfully.
