New Year's Eve Question

We're spending NYE at WDW and wondered if there is one spot that does a big countdown thing. Fireworks are 9:00 with Spectromagic at 10:00 at Magic Kingdom, Illuminations at Epcot at 11:40. I'm assuming the "place to be" is Epcot and if so, we want to be there with thousands of our closest friends (since we're staying at the Swan I'd really like it to be Epcot!).

Magic Kingdom, Epcot, MGM all have fireworks celebrations at midnight....It is really grand..(Well at least they have in the past) It's not on the official hours but I'm pretty sure they will be doing it again..

Yes, and believe it or not....... it's the only day that I know of that you can see "Sorcery in the Sky' over at MGM. It's really a rarity to see it anymore........

We did NYE in Magic Kingdom. It was awesome!

WE did NYE 1999/2000 at Epcot, and it was SPECTACULAR! The countdown was magnivicent, and the fireworks were like daylight! Biggest problem here was leaving with the crowd. We formed a human chain and snaked our way along past the rose gardens and kept as far to the left as possible and were outside the park and at the bus stop in less than 1/2 hour. It was an experience we will never forget, and intend to do it again sometime!

We were at BWV last year and watched the fireworks from our balcony, it was very rainy, wet and cold. However it is so much fun at that time of year we are going back this year. We will be at BCV, first time I am doing the NYE cruise to see the fireworks . I don't know alot about it but I am excited. Hope you enjoy yourself as much as we do, its crowded but worth it!!
