New Year's Eve Party @ Pleasure Island

We're thinking about getting tickets for the New Year's Eve party at Pleasure Island ($79/person for Blondie concert, appetizers, champagne toast, and entrance to the clubs). Has anyone ever done the NYE party at Pleasure Island before? Is it fun? Is it a total mob scene?

You can get the details on the Disney website. Go to "tickets and reservations." Under "park tickets," click on "special events."

We have never done NYE at Pleasure Island, we usually do EPCOT. A few years ago my boyfriends niece, she was about 23 at the time, did NYE at Pleasure Island with her boyfriend. She said it was a total mob scene. We were at EPCOT the same year and yes we had crowds but nothing like she had. EPCOT is so large and there are so many out of the way places to go no matter how bad it is (and we have been there most NYE for the past 4 years) you can always find someplace to sit and relax. Besides, on NYE they have the best IllumiNations. What ever you do, have fun.

My wife and I (both in our late 20's) have bought tickets to the Pleasure Island NYE celebration-- I read from people on other boards who said they had a blast in the past. If anyone else out there is going, please feel free to email me. Maybe we could all grab a drink together? Take care!
