When you know you make a ton of healthy dinners...
Kids literally said they wanted my all-beef hot dogs with the fixin's and onion rings for New Year's Eve. B/c that seemed lacking, I am adding a cocktail shrimp ring and a multi-fruit tray with dip. And I bought them Christmas clearance hot chocolate bombs and macarons for the ball drop (I'm skipping both, but I can actually eat the whole dinner).
I guess I should keep up the uber-healthy meals all year so I always get NYE effectively off...
PS - It's been about 8-9 months since we've had hot dogs, so I do understand the appeal. I'm making a (vegan) sweet potato and black bean chili today with blackberries/clementines/grape fruit salad and Tostitos for the kids (spouse's 1st response was he wanted chili, so I did cover that)...
