New Year's Eve at the Fort question

We were just staying off site this last week. We did have a reservation at Trails for 7:45 New Year"s Eve and arrived about 6:45. There was a Party with a DJ on the beach and we walked down to enjoy it before our meal.
Is this Party given most years? Been a long time since we were at the Fort for New Years so I just don't remember it.

I can't say about most years, James, but it was listed on the December recreation calendar. See this link for the movie schedule and see in the first post the second image I posted that has the words "Happy Holidays" at the top.

It was also on the 2015 calendar too.
