Would any of you consider a more poofy, ballgown-style dress?

Nan, please oh please post a pic of the gold shoes!

And that black/gold dress is beautiful! But would Molly be hot in it? I know if I had thick long sleeves I'd be burning up.

Lemme find a gold top for you. This is fun!

I don't really like this one, but I do think it sparkles, and it's nicely form-fitting.;)

Just thinking...

Even if formal night wouldn't normally fall on the night of NYE, I'm sure DCL will specially schedule it that way. If that's the case, I don't think I want to do Palo dinner on that night. Semi-formal night would be a good night for Palo, since we'll be semi-formally dressed up anyway, which would work very well at Palo.

I don't want to be separated from Jesse on NYE. After midnight, he'll be free as a bird to leave us and party with his friends.

from what I can read of other NYE's we will be formal on NYE and yes I'd want to eat together that night, kiss kiss at midnight and find a way to ditch my kids :rotfl2: okay you girls know that means Paul is taking them to bed and we can PARTY!!!!

Tigg, wanna link our ressie now or later??? I'll email you our #'s tomorrow. Wasn't that nice how I just figured you would handle it for us :lmao: :lmao:

Aisling in charge of dressing us
Tigg in charge of travel plans (you're gonna find me flights right?:rolleyes1 )
Jill party planner
Karen party goer
Brenda along for the fun
Nan directing all of you to your jobs :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl: man I crack myself up.

wow....all those dresses make me want to shop!!!!:woohoo: i had better lose these last 12-15 lbs (that's only like 1 lb a month),....seems very doable..but since i'm at the same weight i was in April....not looking so good for me yet....and that's with the increase in my cardio and weight lifting....UGGGHHHH

I know how that feels!!! I have lost 34lbs since January 2005 - it's been a slow and steady process but I've kept it off. I really want to lose another 8lbs before the end of the year but it's getting very tough! I've definitely hit a plateau! When I get back from the cruise and WDW, my body will have had a real break from it's usual low-carb diet so I'll be ready to step it up. I'm also going to spend 6 weeks in Oct/Nov having two personal training sessions per week - I might even try and get back into running...

Kaz, I am in Orlando from the 27th to the 30th. We fly home around 845 on Sunday night. Rose and I plan on being in Epcot all day the 29th.

Do you fly home the night of the 29th or on the 30th?

I'd like to make time to meet you if that's possible.

Tigg, we get off the Magic on the morning of the 29th and fly home later that same day - I think the flight's at 5.30pm.

Tigg - Yes... I have to do a Palo Brunch.. LOVE their brunches. As for dinner, I might try to do that either on the Animator's Palate dinner show night (husband and I did that last time) or the last night for the Farewell Dinner. My preferance would be the Animator Palate dinner show night. Would just have to call closer to the 90 days to see what my seating time is, then will look at recent navigators to try and determine my seating rotation (I have had success w/that in the past). :cool1:

For Key West, last time I went there I did the Conch Train tour, as well as Hemingway's House (loved it.. but then again.. i love cats!!). My girlfriend and I also got the Key Lime Pie, hers was on a stick and dipped in chocolate.. fantastic!!! Picked up tons of Key Lime juice for home!!

In Cozumel, I did the Mayan Ruin tour back in 1995 (a dif. cruise line) and loved it. It was super hot the day that I did the tour (spring break), but I bet the weather in late Dec. there is nice!!

Asiling, those dresses are AMAZING!!!! just wish I had the body to go into one of those. Presently I am in a 14, and am hoping the WW group at work gets started back up.. but then again.. that could be a moot point if we get pregnant.. LOL.. Keep the dresses coming!! and yes.. ball gownish kinds work for me!!

I sure do love you all!!! You start my day(s) off perfectly!!!!

OMG Aisling.....I just thought of how you can have a job without leaving home and ONLY working when you want to....just become a personal shopper!!! now for all your cruisemates...that service can be free....but for all the busy women you know in your church - Jesse's school etc. - charge them mega bucks!!!!

On my Western in April i had brunch on Key West day...which is Sunday....that was perfect....because we "walked" all over KW - so burned those calories RIGHT OFF!!!! and i had Palo dinner on Tuesday night...i think it was Parrot Cay night....

I normally like to sign up for Palo dinner on the Parrot Cay night as well.. esp. if formal night falls on that evening.. however.. My husband LOVED their menu.. how can I say no!! lol.. Like I had mentioned previously... my husband has been on 1 DCL EVER and that was this past Halloween... Loved it so much he questioned why I picked a 4 night over a 7 night.. (I was trying to ease him into it) See.. he is in the Coast Guard... I didnt want to impose a Bus Driver's vacation on him.. I wanted to see if he liked it before I spent the $$ on a 7 night... Needless to say he is hooked.. and went on to point out the VAST difference between working on the water and cruising on the water!

He also LOVED the Brunch. I am torn as to whether I should also book a tea in Palo. I think I would like to do the Stem to Stern one of the at sea days.

I just checked on my reservation and they have me listed for the Main Dining.. I think I will call today and ask to be moved to a late seating. I see my sister and her infant, and he is awake and fine at those hours... so if we are lucky enough to have a baby by then, that baby I would think would do ok at that hour for dinner. Plus would give us the extra time to get ready for din din!

That's what they all say, Jill!!! :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl: Hey I think the party will plan itself so just be a goer like me... ;)

That's what we're doing on our Western in a mere 12 days!!! - not that I'm showing off or anything... :rolleyes1

Ok..

I was able to change from the early seating to the later one!!! :cheer2:
:thumbsup2
