- hate to go to bed right after dinner.....NOT that i'll be going to bed at 8:00 like i do here! NO WAY!!!! and i'm definitely NOT getting up at 2:30 either!!!

You'll probably not even have gone to bed yet at 2:30! If you're staying in Times Square, it's crowded, busy, and exciting until around 4 am, no kidding!

Tig, I think you'd go for the Village, with it's young, hip, vibrant peeps partying in the restaurants, clubs and right out on the streets until dawn. Just to see it it's like you're in another country. The side streets there are very narrow, like in Europe, and filled with people having a good time, very safe too, I must add. It reminds me of Burbon Street in NO, but without the drunks and violence.

I got a notice from the mods that I HAVE BEEN WARNED that my siggie is to large. So I deleted it for now, and will put up smaller copies of both of your creations, Tig.

Jesse is such a cutie....i keep reminding Ryan to look him up online when he's playing XBox...and he keeps forgetting....i think they have soooo much in common that they will really get along on our cruise....so they might as well start now

Kaz....i LIKE that name for you too!! OMG - San Fran would be PERFECT for your DH...you have soooo many options as to where to live..and Nan & I need another "cruise mate" in our neighborhood....

Nan~ what r u doing Friday 10/19? Would you like to meet about 6 or 8 of us girls at Santana Row that evening? we are going up there to celebrate somebody's '50th' bd....would love to have you join us...some will be coming up for dinner only & some of us are staying over at the Hotel Valencia....we haven't chosen a restaurant yet...but can you let you know more if you're interested....

Are there still tickets available for wicked for that night? I think rose and I would enjoy the show. If not, Aisling, would you be our your guide if I followed your suggestion?

I am out by the pool sunning myself, everyone else went to the beach. I need some alone time, I get moody when I have to deal with too many people at once. I don't like being miserable to people.

I just checked www.ticketsnow.com - they do have tix available for that night (Sat 9/22 8pm) at the Gershwin ranging from $97-375 each...

I coulda swore I wrote signature up in the last post, it literally disappeared...

It was 85 and sunny today with a slight breeze. I went to the beach with the gang for a little but and then came back to the pool. We are all getting ready to go to a seafood buffet for dinner.

My mood is better now, it doesn't take long I just need my space sometimes. Ill talk to rose about the show. I look forward to meeting you Brenda and can't wait to see Aisling again.

I think rose has a timeshare out of the wyndham, as soon as I know where we are staying ill holler back atcha.

We enjoyed the night. It could have been perfect but I couldn't get a massage they were booked to the gills...

I'll email you from my desk tomorrow, that's where my calendar is. btw, I have a friend who might like to do the carmel overnight scrap too...

Hope you can make it for that drink...did you like the V? We got two rooms- i think about 5 or 6 are staying over...the rest will go home...IF they don't drink too much!!! hummm....i better look into getting massage ressies right away....DD & I have some scheduled for 10/13 at Seascape, but thought we would cancel & get them on the 20th up there...will have to be early enough..it's homecoming that day, so can't miss the game...will need to be back into Wats by 1:00

SO HOPE all goes well with your Mom ...I was just telling some friennds how you all went to HK for her BD....keep us posted

This was sent out by Nan today. It is a request for prayers for her Mom. I know this is not the repo forum. But, we care also.
I’ve just come home from a morning mammogram/ultra sound appointment with my mom. My mom has been diagnosed with a breast mass (or 2) and I’m the point person to work with her doctors on getting a biopsy (with in the next few days).



It’s not looking good and I expect that we will shortly be scheduling surgery at a minimum course of treatment.



Mom is also is under care from her eye doctor for a laser treatment for glaucoma. (okay, and a bad tooth and so on and so on…it’s hard getting old)



Prayers are much needed for strength to get thru the next few appointments and find out what is the actual diagnosis and treatment actions.



I’ll keep you updated as more news unfolds,

That is such sad news. My prayers, thoughts and very best wishes are with Nan's Mother and all the family at this unbelievably difficult time. I truly hope the outcome is positive and you all find the strength to get through the days ahead.

As I said before, vacation is the only time I have travel channel.

Everyone except brit and me went out. Britt is sleeping, I am doing hubbys laundry, ed went fishing, stef just left for home with Courtney and nick. Rose and John went with our sons my neph and dannys girlfriend into a town called manteo. They are going to the aquarium and going to do some sightseeing, shopping and skateboard spot hunting. Danny is roses son btw.

Rose is still thinking about cruising with is but stef said she is a starving student and unless mom pays for her, which so far she won't, she cannot come

I am hoping to go to the big dune nearby and get some sunset shots. Jockeys ridge is the largest sand dune on the east coast and just south of where orville and wilber Wright flew the very first time.
