Same price as for everyon else

The only ticket discount for DVC members is for annual passes, which is $100 off.

Nan - what takes you to China?

I can answer that!

Nan had told me her Mom had a choice of (pretty much anywhere in the world) she wanted to go. Mom chose China. Nan threw in a side trip to Honk Kong Disney

not really....it went like this.

My sister and I took my mom out to dinner for her first anniversary without my dad and during dinner conversation I said....mom's it's your 80th birthday this summer what shall we do, we could go somewhere. Where would you like to go? She replied China. My sister and I looked accross the table at each other and said why not? So we morphed the plan into the girls do China. My dad always wanted to see China. Hence mom picked China. The trip will be, mom, me, molly my sister Leeanna, and my niece Kristen (daughter of my oldest sister Carol). My other two sisters were invited but have opted not to come. I figured if we got all the way to China may as well make HK Disneyland a stop over. Should be an adventure....

well - its really wonderful that you have an opportunity to take your Mom....and the fact that your own DD DN & DS are all going...what an awesome "girl trip". We invited my other two sisters to come with us when we do our Paris/London trip - but one can't (she's the oldest raising her 3 grandchildren) & our other sister - a real estate agent thinks she is JUST TOO BUSY and could never take that kind of trip like houses are selling like hotcakes in Fort Dodge Iowa these days

your sis sounds like one of mine...she works at Safeway (yes the grocery store) as a checker, yes she is too busy at work to take this trip too. Can you believe that people need to buy thier grocercies from only her?

It would be for me too. Sadly my Mother died 14 years ago aged 50 and I really wish I'd had the opportunity to take more trips with her. Oh well, just gotta make sure I spend as much time as possible with my kids - they won't get rid of me too easy!

ahhh - yeah you totally need to get into something surrounding photography....you def have a good eye...keep your eyes/ears open - you never know when the right door may open

Hi Brenda!

I kinda like my photography being my hobby and not my job...

as a hobby I am more flexible about using it where I like to and not so much as I have to...I do promo photos for work, I do band shots for a friends of ours, I have done weddings for friends and sell framed prints of my stuff for those who ask. I also do family portraits when asked. The portraits come out much better now that I use the boss' Nikon...I tried to do some for Nan on the cruise with my point and shoot and honestly, I didn't like any of them.

I promote it on my MySpace and love it when all the kids I deal with use pictures I have taken of them on theirs. I have had band shots published in newspapers and am soon to be in Sharla Whalen's new book on scrapbooking.

IOW, I do ok already with it...

I'd just like to find a way to make it more financially productive~

Hi Karen, Brenda, Tig, Nan, Grim, all my cruise buds,

I've been looking at airfares to Orlando for this December, and holy smoke, they're outrageous! I'm talking almost $600 per person on Jetblue! I have $900 credit with Jetblue, but it looks like that $900 is nothing more than a drop in the bucket. It looks like we won't be going to Orlando this winter with those fares!
