Mom chose the rooms we got for almost the same reason...

Her room has a full verandah like the cat 7 but at a cat 6 price~

We tried to get the two they had but one was no longer availabe...Mom gets choice since she's the one who gave me this information when I booked~

Happy Sloshy Crappy Weather Friday all!!!

I read an interesting article on the 16th about passports that I would like to share.

TRENTON - The process in issuing new passports has been slowed down by a new law requiring all U. S. vacationers to carry a passport - even in Mexico and Canada.
Due to the law, Mercer County Clerk Paula Sollami Covello said the National Passport Information Center is processing an enormous amount of passport requests these days.
She said the new law requires passports for trips to Central and south America, the Caribbean and Bermuda too.
According to a federal advisor, processing passports are now taking 10-to-12 weeks and expedited passports could take as long as six-to-eight weeks.
"Don't wait," sollami Covello said. "If you are traveling this summer outside the U.S,., or in the next year, apply now."
"My office is receiving an enormous amount of calls due to this delay, so I thought it was important to inform the public that we cannot help them if they do not apply early.":hourglass

Happy St Patty's day:thumbsup2

I'm not doing it immediately but we are definitely getting our passports this year...

I won't tell John that we booked the cruise for awhile, he's too nervous about sailing for me to tell him this early in the game.

I can fudge an excuse for him to get his passport, everybody else who's going knows that John is not to be told and that we HAVE to get passports in the meantime...

~It's all good~

Boy, I'm sure glad you said something. I'd hate to be the one to let it slip. We are just going to have to convince him that the boat doesn't rock. Even Laurie who has a tender tummy didn't have to take anything until the day of the hurricane.

I'm going to give him the same thing I took...

1 24 hour pill every day starting with the day BEFORE we sail and not ending till we are done~

I thought I told you but am very glad to have reminded you ;)

How was your dinner last night?

John is making Ham and Cabbage for us right now~

Whew - on the reminder

The dinner Tom made was for the Legion. I asked him if he would make it & they would pay him for it.

I went to Pittsburgh for a skating meet. I got a 4th place for the region & tied for 8th out of 26 for the skaters that came for all over the country. I was pleased with that because at the Pittsburgh contest I usually come in around 15th or 16th.:cool1:

Tommy is making Chicken Parm with Spaghetti tonight. Yummmm :goodvibes

I guess I'm not quite Irish enough for Ham & Cabbage. I must be Italian this year.:confused3

LYMI:wizard:

It's not corn beef and cabbage...it's Ham~

John did a great job making it. He used honey glazed ham and added some red pepper flakes for a little spice.

He's sleeping right now and I'm enjoying a relaxing Sunday~

I made this collage tonight...

I was thinking of our cruise back in December of 2005 and thought a collage... a collage of each part of our cruise...it takes a long time, I could probably make one a day and then make a scrapbook of the collages, I will finally get my trips in a scrapbook!

What do you guys think of the first page? We stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge the night before the cruise, so I made the first page from that part of our trip. If you like it, next up will be AKL part deux...

She said HAM, not corned beef (can you hear my monty python accent there?)

we are having Chinese food tonight in honor of Mr. Wilson and his 4th place win (out of 11, not bad huh?)

Last night we had mexican food, in honor of the green margarita....:lmao:

I'm thinking "Ham, ham, ham, ham" like spam instead it's ham:laughing:

A Collage - good idea. Then take pictures of each one & we can put it on our doors.:surfweb:

Congratulations you two!

I actually found a cool idea for the doors, the room sign as the head and make two ears to go around it for our very own hidden Mickeys.

Adrian just called me from Trenton, some ******* was reading the paper while she was driving and rear ended his new car!!! Poor Cate seems to have gotten a sore neck out of it, Adrian is more worried about getting into trouble for having tint on his windows :confused3

I'm home today since I worked Saturday...

Whatever happened to the group shots we took at AKL the night before we cruised? I'd like to use one of them in my next AKL collage if someone can send me a copy or a link to theirs please!!!

are you talking about the ones in our room? or are you thinking about breakfast that morning we left? I have those on my work desk...aren't they on the discs that we gave you on the last day of the cruise? can you email me at work to remind me and I'll send them to you.
:3dglasses

Yes Nan, from the room...DUH-I have all your pics in my PC I am sitting at

I saw the ears in someone's pics a little while back and totally have to try that this time!

Nope...just looked...I don't have the group shots from Nan's room...

You loaded it into Webshots, didn't you???

OK, where is everyone?:confused3

The highlight of the day is lurking & reading this post. Not the others - this one.
;)
I think I need a fix.:surfweb:

Nans probably off talking to her Repo friends...

Aisling is probably knee deep in house work, I had to do payroll this morning (ahem-Nan and Aisling, I am still looking for that room shot!)

When do you go back to Orlando? July?
