Hi!!:thumbsup2

We are still(??!!!:lmao:) planning our 2010 Christmas/New Years trip to Orlando and whilst we currently are planning to spend from Jan 2nd to Jan 8th at Universal (HRH!!:worship:) - we are thinking of possibly bringing this forward a little - to arrive on 30th Dec and stay through to 5th Jan.

We would be driving offsite for New Years Eve as we have relatives in the area and will be spending that day/evening with them, but we would still be coming back to sleep at HRH and would then remain on site for New Years Day and thereafter.

What will the crowds be like?? Will there be a lot of hungover people around or large groups of adults still in party mood from the night before?? (Our two boys will only be 6 and 3 - so we won't be really 'partying' ourselves :lmao:and wondered what the atmosphere in general is like at both HRH and in the parks during this holiday??)

We absolutely LOVED HRH this year:love:, it was definitely our highlight :cloud9:- and very family friendly - I guess I'm looking for the same kind of atmosphere and was just wondering whether for New Years it might be more 'adult' orientated??:)

thanks for any info!!:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

You won't have large crowds at the park after new years day passes.

I have gone at times during HHN where the booze stands are everywhere in the park.
Can't say I have ever seen hung over people as you put it, the next day in the park or city walk.

I am assuming the same would hold true for new years day.

I'm sure you will have a wonderful trip there!

One would think they hung over people will still be sleeping. I know if I have to much I sure dont wanna ride a rollercoaster the next day!

thanks every one!!!:goodvibes

Do you think large groups of adults stay at the HRH for New Years or do you think it will still be very family orientated??

(I always had reservations about staying at HRH as I thought it was 'too cool' for us!!:lmao: -but I thought we'd give it a go last year and I so enjoyed staying there (in fact so much so that it is our favourite hotel anywhere!!:worship:) that I suppose I am hoping that we will still feel 'cool enough' as a family of four with two young children in tow at New Years!!;) )
