Hello everyone! My New Year's Resolution (along with everyone else) is to lose weight, get fit, eat better, and just be all around healthier.
I started college this past fall and I have really felt a difference in my body. I haven't gained TOO much weight, but I feel very flabby and some of my clothes are beginning to be a little too tight. So, since I have a month more off from school, I figured this is the best time to start my new lifestyle.
I think January will be the easiest month because of the fact I will be home. There is more variety with food and I am more likely to eat the healthy stuff at home rather than at school and I am definitely more likely to exercise at home. Especially because I have nothing to do during the day, I have no excuses.
I was a part of a different message board this time last year and I found that having to write down everything I eat and what kind of activity I do, makes me more likely to do and eat the right things. Also, the positve comments are always good to hear and that makes it so much easier!
Goals
eat at least four servings of fruits/vegetables a day
drink at least 7 bottles of water and 1 cup of black tea a day
try to minimize snacking and cut out junk food
excercise 5 to 6 times a week for a minimum of an hour a day
lose the weight I gained this past fall/winter
Stats
Age - 19
Height - 5 feet, 4 inches
Weight - 123 pounds

Before I get attacked, I know I don't have to lose any weight. That is not my main goal. I just want to tone my muscles and be healthier in my food choices. So, thats my story and I hope to be hearing from you soon!
