*NEW* Wyndham Bonnet Creek Pay it Forward Bin - Please Read First Post for Details

If anyone could pick up small things of baby oil to keep in the bins that would be a great addition. I forgot to mention it in my post with the inventory. The reason I’m saying this is because if you let your kids get their face painted at the resort (they have it for guests for free on the weekends in Tower 6 from 3-5 & line cuts off at 4:15) the paint is REALLY hard to get off. Like after two showers my kids still had remnants of it on their faces and we had a character breakfast at Topolino’s the day we checked out. So their faces in the pictures look a little *battered* from the paint I couldn’t get off! :rotfl2:
 
I am here now and happy to report the bins are as well! I was able to get both of them. I am going to go through them and evenly distribute the items. I will try to make an inventory list so everyone can know which bins have what. There is only one Mickey waffle maker. I also completely emptied and gave the bins themselves a good wash. So thrilled to be able to share this news!

**We will try to accommodate specific bin color request but because I try to keep the lists even and make sure that one bin doesn't sit too long it may not be possible**

If your post count is less than 10, post here to reserve a bin and then we can get the PM info once you have enough posts. See post #2, below, about sending PMs/starting conversations.

Step #2 Once you are assigned a bin, please send a PM with your name and cell phone number to the people both before and after you on the list.

Step #3 Upon check in at WBC, pick up your bin from Bell Services outside the main building.

Step #4 Enjoy the items in the bin throughout your stay. Bin contents are subject to frequent change and even if someone posts an inventory in this thread, something may be used/removed before you get the bin.

Step #5 When you are ready to leave, add any unused non-perishable items you have to the bin. DO NOT PUT OPEN ITEMS IN THE BIN!

Step #5 Attach the name and arrival date of the person who has the bin after you

Step #6 Drop off the bin back to Bell Services at the MAIN BUILDING before you leave WBC. Please do not drop off the bin at Building 6.


*Remember* the bins operate on an honor system and only exist because of the generosity of the Disers who have added to the bin before you. Please be kind and take care of the bins! IMPORTANT UPDATE:
Do not rely on bell services to pick up the bin.

If you think you might have a problem getting the bin to storage on your checkout day, take it over the night before.

Remove all old labels and make sure the bin is labeled with the first and last name as well as check in date for the next family

If you are unable to pick up the bin, for whatever reason...please let me know so that we can arrange for the next family to ask for the bin with your name on it

The best way to pick up the bin is to go directly to bell services where the storage area is and ask for it.

Please message me (Pepperandchips) when you get home if the bin needs more tape and index cards as supplies to label the bin so that I can coordinate with someone using the bin later.

Totally last minute trip starting today to Wendesday

5/30 to 6-2.

I know its bot the 2 or 3 days, but if there is any bins available. I can add some stuff like bubbles and glow stuff. Maybe even some coconut oil (refined). Its good to get paint off your face as well. And you can cook with it etc.
 
The list has been updated and I am so happy to see several more DISers traveling to WBC! Thanks for your patience, everyone - we traveled for the first week of June and I had some health challenges when we returned but all is good now and I am on the mend. Please let me know if you have questions or if I can help in any way. :sunny:
 
Hi Friends! Both bins are well and good 👍

"In the morning, I'm makin' waffles!"

I did pick up a Mickey waffle maker for the bin that didn't have one. We'll also be leaving a Brita pitcher, so folks can pack along a filter if you want to use it.

One thing to note: we should label for the next person on the ends of the bins. They had them on the top shelf and had told me they weren't there. I asked to come in and look. Sure enough, they were totally there, but since the ends aren't labeled he didn't know.

Instructions to send a PM, now known as "Start a Conversation"

You will need to ensure you are logged in to the Dis and that you have at least 10 posts. If you don't have 10 posts yet, head over to this Welcome to the Dis portion of the forums and say hi, introduce yourself, or head to any part of the Dis you like and participate in conversation until you have at least 10 posts. If you can't send me a conversation (aka a PM) I can't reserve the bin for you as there will be no way for you to coordinate with those before and after you.

Click on my username which is a hyperlink and will pop up with a box with more options - the screen grabs below are from a desktop but it works the same on mobile.

In the conversation/PM I will need your dates, real life name :) and a cell phone number to sign up for the bin. Bins will be assigned based on the order the conversation/PM was received. The message board privacy settings allow you to turn off the ability to receive PMs/conversations from other board members if you choose to receive messages only from "people you follow" or "nobody". Please do not do this - if you do, the other members of this thread have no way of getting in touch with you and the bin will not be labeled with your name for you to pick up. I will post a screen grab below of the setting that your message preference needs to be set to in order to participate on this thread.

I will try to stop by the resort and start a new bin the next time I am at WDW to replace the purple bin. I may choose a color other than purple to minimize confusion. If anyone has time to look for the purple bin while you are at the resort please let me know if you are able to find it.
It won't let me message you. There's no start conversation button. I posted that I would like a bin for October 8th-18th please.
