New with a question

I am SO excited to be planning our first Fort visit. We will be tent camping and this forum is great resource with all your experience and wisdom.

there seems to be so many people here that enjoy the Fort.

Why then - when i look at the forum pages it only shows 5 pages of forum - dating from 11/09?

I would think there would be hundreds of pages with how much this community loves and visits the Fort.

Is it an error on my end that's causing me to see such a limited number of forum pages? Did the forum blow up and take all your wisdom and stories with it?

Okay,,let me see if I can answer your post.
WOW,,2:21AM ! You really start planning your trips early !! If you REALLY look around here you'll see that even tho there are only 5 pages of forum, theres lots of info on all kinds of camping. I'm not sure that how much of it I would believe cause most of us really dont like to camp, we are just looking for someone to listen to us.
The reason the are only 5 pages of forum is because Disney thinks of the campers as their "little red headed step child".
Is it an error on on your part ? No, it is not,,I told you, we are Disney's little red headed step child,,so if you want to enjoy the camping boards beyond 5 pages, they are gonna make you work for it,,which means you'll havta scroll to the bottom of the page and search the "Display Options" for more pages.


Or you could do like everyone else and just post everysingle question that pops into your head instead of searching.

Now that I got my stupid stuff outta the way,,WELCOME to the camping boards !
It really is a great buncha folk here who really do love the Fort,and really can answer pretty much any Fort questions you may have. Do feel free to ask questions, the search option on these baords dont always work well.
I would like to say that ya'll are gonna hava great time at the Fort. The first visit is usually gettn things figuring out how everything at the Fort works and learn'n your way around,, its a piece of cake after that,

yeah - 2 in the morning...the insomniac in me can think of nothing better than to do at 2 am , then dream and plan for disney !

My husband and I will be tent camping with our 2 girls - 13 and 6. We're locals to Central Florida but just starting camping this past year with a trip to Lion Country Safari. So this upcoming year - Disney it is !!! ( as well as several other planned trips around the state - I think my family is hooked on camping)

We Love PoRiverside - but breaking away from the resort to try a whole new way to enjoy disney. We'll see how it goes !
