After reading so much about all the great Christmas decorations I changed my December ressies to add a couple of days at the WL!!!

I'm very excited! I was booked a Woods View Room & wondered if anyone could help me with room requests. Do any of the Woods View rooms also have a view of the lobby, or are these different rooms? The only views I saw listed on-line were the standard, courtyard & lodge views. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!

Just visited the WL Friday night to eat dinner at Artist Point after the AP Osborne light preview.The decorations and tree were beautiful.With the fireplaces lit, it really gave the resort a wonderful atmosphere. Hopefullyyou will love it Don't have an answer to your room?Sure someone can help you out.Enjoy your stay at the Polynesian and WL.

Has anyone tried the new DC Jan. code for WL? if so, can you tell me what percentage it is saving? I'm going to have to make some big changes to my ressie to get the discount and I'm wanting to find out if it's going to be worth my while savings-wise.

I could not find any "real" LGR either, but I'm improvising with some lime green plastic on a roll that my DH brought home from work for me! He knew I was desparate! I can hardly wait! See you there!

I got lucky and found a lime green ribbon that's made to attach to your luggage. We'll have it on our backpack and hopefully someone will notice. We'll be looking, too!

I bought a huge roll of lime green curling ribbon (like you put on girfts) at the craft store so that we can hang it off our balcony railing at the WL also...

If you see the ribbon please say hello!! I'm convinced that the best kind of Disney people are DISer's

I know I'm supposed to fax my room request in about 4 days prior to my arrival day, but that would fall on my wedding day! Do you think we can fax it a little earlier?

And what do we say on it?! We, of course would want a nice view for our honeymoon, but we would also want a smoking room...ANY SUGGESTIONS, PLEASE?!

Hi All,
Just got back from vacation, so I'll try and answer the questions you posed...

Mapletree.......As far as I know, none of the bathrooms have tub rails, the disability rooms have roll in showers....I'll look into the non slip tub mats and get back to you....wheel chairs can be requested from guest services upon check in and based on availability at no charge...

NJPHIL........Standard rooms are fourth floor through sixth floor...

SM4987.....Smoking optional is the fifth floor, south wing.......

Arizonacolbys........Lodge view = woods view..and yes some woods view rooms overlook the lobby......

QJ411.....Smoking optional is the fifth floor south wing and i believe there is only one room that has a king bed....you can fax your room request whenever it is convenient for YOU...we have a rotating file that we look at each day......

AskMickey - so if I understand you correctly, you cannot request a wheelchair before arrival? and if there are none when you arrive, you're out of luck?
Maybe we should rent one from an outside source just to be on the safe side. DD is 83 and balks at the idea, but I know after the first day he'll give in.
