Also a WalMart superviser here, although not over the front end, I can say that this is not quite true as we cannot charge more for the one item. If our price was 2.99, we could not charge 3.98 for the first one. As I understand it, we would take one (was 2.99) and override it to 2.98, and the second for .01, or any combination that equals the buy one get one free. Or it may be that they do one at reg. price, 2.99, and second at 1.00 to equal the 3.99. We only do bOGO if a price is shown in the ad.
The changes on ad matching have had many of us confused!
Oh boy...if youre confused, imagine how my poor cashier will feel when I come through her line! LOL ill make sure to print out the new policies and bring them with me.
