New Walkway from BCV to Epcot?

When we took the model tour at BWV 2 weeks ago, they told us that DVC had built its own walkway for the guests that will go from BCV to Epcot. I must admit that although I've tried to be reading as much as possible on BCV, this is the first I've heard of a new walkway. And when we went over that way, I didn't see any signs of one. Anyone know what they might have been talking about?

Well, the only entrance to EPCOT from the EPCOT resorts is the International Gateway. I would assume that all they did is extend the sidewalk (that is between the BC Hotel and EPCOT) back past the BCV. When we stayed at the BC Hotel (prior to the BCV) we used that sidewalk as a quick way to EPCOT. It comes out just before the path from the Boardwalk joins the path from the front of the BC/YC Hotels and continues on to the IG entrance to EPCOT.

We saw them putting in a gate in the fence a few weeks ago at BC. Maybe that is for the walkway from BCV
