new VB prints

Wow, idiot here! I thought VB prints were pictures of Vero Beach that someone had for sale! Sorry--need more sleep!

I was bad, ran into Crabtree and Evelyn to see the new prints. Had a Lisa B and matching ID to exchange, the bag was just way too small, it was a gift. Thought I would just get a store credit but ended up liking the A+ Frill Slate blooms tote and wallet. Came home and see they are on QVC with the wallet free with the tote. Arghhh. Oh well.

I know Frill is aimed at teens but I like the totes. I have a paprika one, too. I like the way they are waterproof and colorful

the manager was there and I overheard her saying how there are discounts on QVC and that it's not right because they can only discount when VB tells them to.


the store was packed, Barcelona was flying off the shelves. I only liked the ones that have a thin amount of ribbon.

so when do the next round of prints come out? lol

I LOVE that Slate Blooms Frill tote. It's awesome. I had to go look it up to see what it looks like.

I adore the Frill line. I'm 41, and I think it's aimed at me.

the best VB thing ever is the pajama bottoms. I've been getting them on ebay. They roll up and you can button them to make them capris. So comfy and love the patterns. I wonder why they don't sell them on the site anymore.

I'm in the minority here but I love Barcelona. I've already called our local store and they're holding a couple of things for me

My DD10 loves Frill so we'll be getting her some for her first year in intermediate school - she's so proud but has been put under strick warning that if she loses anything she won't be getting a replacement!

I made DD chip in on her Frill backpack because her old one was still in good shape and we don't usually spend $50 on them. She loves it so much she kept it in her bed the first night she got it. She can't to start middle school now.

I picked up the Frannie and clip zip wallet in Very Berry at Wit's End. They had tons of stuff if you're still looking for anything. The only thing I don't like about Crabtree is that they only put one out of each color because the store is so small. I had about 8 Frannie's to pick from and about 12 wallets. I looked through them all too!

The only thing I don't like about Wit's End though is that they hover over you. They had two ladies on guard tonight-they must get a lot of people that steal there.

I'm debating about going to the VB outlet in Mass on Sunday. I can't decide if I really want to spend 3 hours in the car just to go to Vera Bradley but I'd like to see it one of these days.

I did it! I went in and bought Julia in Barcelona pattern....love it! For me it's the perfect size, now I won't be losing things in my purse. I have a Coach tote purse that I'm always cursing because I lose things in it because it's pretty large

My DD10 is now loving Frill so she's already saving to get the lunch box and couple of things. I sneaked in a pencil case & pencils for both of my DDs but I'm not giving it to them until the first day of school in Sept.

Just to update- I ended up going to the VB Outlet on Sunday. It was well worth the trip. It only took me about 2 hours and 20 minutes from Latham door to door. We came out with a bundle of stuff. They had a lot of items in colors that are no longer available on the internet. If you have any questions-let me know and I'll try to answer them.

I do have to say that if you go, get there when they open. We got there right when they opened and it was empty. I told my daughter not to pick up anything-look all around first before you make your decision. Well, about 20 minutes later, I told her that she better pick up anything that she wanted because the place was packed. They would have about 20 of one item, maybe 15 in one color and 3 in another and 2 in something else. And they will tell you whatever is out is all they have so once something is gone, you are out of luck!
