I'd suspect that with the included alcohol, this would skew more to adults as you say. We did WAT and loved it. We'd probably do this one as a family as well at some point. We've done several events as a whole family where alcohol is included (PFTS, Illuminations Dessert Party, SW Dessert party, etc). Every time there have been other kids there. I'd guess this would be similar in that way. Their minimum age is 8 for this one.Sounds fun. I think this is one of those upsells you'll see a lot of couples doing. Seems to be marketed that way with the photos on the Disney page too. However, I don't see entire families signing up for this.
I agree that this factors in for many. For us, it makes no difference at all.Like many of their upcharge events that include alcohol, the perceived value in this one will depend on how much you drink/if you drink at all.
You'd think they would have learned their lesson the last time... Though I think I could see this going over better than the After Hours event.
That's a pricey experience. The same type of experience is offered at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park except on that you get to feed giraffes and rhinos and take photos with them and it's $110. To pay more than that and not get any animal interaction is a waste in my opinion.
