happened to catch sight of one today at B&N and gave it a quick peek. It looks like there are lots of changes this go around and many tried and true things returning. I liked some of the new formats for comparing hotels...and restaurants...and the hot tips.

Wasn't able to buy my new copy today.....still waiting for my pre-ordered copy to be delivered

Has anyone had a chance yet to start reading the new guide? What do you think?????

I ordered mine from Barnes and Noble a few days ago (didn't preorder) and it shipped today.

I pre-ordered mine from Amazon and finally had to send them an email asking where it was since it says it was supposed to ship two weeks ago. They replied that they are back-ordered, and since I hadn't been told about that, they are upgrading my shipping to overnight for when it does come in.

Me too! I've gone online twice and they tell me they are sure that it is on it's way (even though it says it's "in process" in the status screen). That there is a problem with their computer systems. I can't say I believe them.... I'm done "pre-ordering" books online. Never works out for me. They are always in the stores before I actually get a copy.

Same here! They only have the Official Guide 2005 for Kids by Kids. I am waiting patiently.

I'm done "pre-ordering" books online. Never works out for me. They are always in the stores before I actually get a copy.

I have 3 weeks until our trip! I need to spend some quality time with my UG before I go. Everytime I hear UPS or FedEx or the Postal truck go up our street, I keep hoping that they will stop by with my UG. But no. Maybe tomorrow?

Not at Overstock.com. No cancellations. You can refuse it or send it back once it comes. Of course, I didn't realize this until I had already ordered it. What a crock!

And of course, I had a great discount that I ordered the book with from Overstock. So I don't think that there is any place else that can touch this price. So I just have to be patient. But it is hard.

The last few days Amazon has listed a 3-5 day ship time, and now they are listing 24 hours. I went ahead and ordered it. We'll see!

(On edit... I mean until this morning they were showing a 3-5 WEEK ship time.)

I ordered something else and did super saver shipping, so mine probably won't come for a few days.

I ordered mine on Monday from BN online and got it yesterday. (regular shipping!) Last night I got no sleep! Lot's of new information, great new format, same great wit! I woke my husband up at one point because I was laughing so hard. I can't tell you how many people I've given copies of this book to over the years after I found out they were making their first trip to see the Mouse!
