Well, Summit thinks that he's too "babyfaced" to play the older Jacob, when he grows really tall. It's just a rumor though for now. I just don't see how replacing an actor and hoping no one notices will work. xD

I think there are definitely ways to make him seem older without totally replacing him.

and i hope nikki stays on the movie.

i guess the only reason she did twilight was cause catherine was directing, so i hope they don't have to find a new rose.

I really hope they don't replace Taylor because he is adorable and so many fans would be so mad but if they did replace him they would probably find some unknown guy or they could use the guy that many fans thought would be jacob before they annoced the twilight cast, Steven Strait. He is so cute and could do a good job plus he is older.

There hasn't been anything said by Chris Weitz (the new director! Very exciting, because I LOVE him, and hated Catherine) or Stephenie about different casting. So far everyone is signed on, and filming will begin any day now, so yes, Taylor Lautner is staying on as Jacob Black.
