Hi everyone, I've been reading all your posts recently. I've been on bedrest, so I'm SO BORED! Thought I'd check in and say that I'm almost at the end and I can't wait until this is all over! It's very uncomfortable now, lots of pressure, pulling, etc...
We are so behind.. we having nothing for the baby except clothes. My sister wanted to give me a shower, but since I'm not supposed to be up, I'm not having one. I'm getting real real nervous about the PAIN I'm going to be in! I fear LABOR!

A word of advice - Don't try to be a hero. ::yes:: TAKE THE DRUGS ::yes:: when they offer it to you. Made labor much more tollerable. Some women will say NO to these so they can tell labor stories or because they think it isn't good for the baby. Again, I say..TAKE THE EPIDERAL. ::yes:: It was great! They just told me when to push, I pushed and was much more conscious during the delivery. The baby was just fine.

OH I am NO hero! I want drugs immediately when I get to the hospital!!! I'm not one of those all natural people in ANY WAY!
I don't understand why people that are in pain refuse medication!! I'm all for it!

:thumbsup2

Well, I woke up this morning feeling a little crampy, and the bbs weren't as sore. So I got a little discouraged. But the soreness is back now, and I'm not feeling quite as crampy.
I guess the only explanation I have for why things feel a little different this time is that it's almost like PMS, but 25 times more. The bb soreness and tenderness is worse than usual and almost nonstop, and the mood swings are more intense than usual PMS. (Just ask Jen...LOL) And I'm sitting here at work feeling like I could cry...for no real reason. Just feeling overcome with emotion all of a sudden. If this is PMS, it's the most intense I've ever had it. *SIGH*

Christal, Things sound good to me!! I hope you continue to have sore bbs and stay an emotional wreck. ;)

Belle Amy, Welcome to the TTC thread! I hope you aren't around here too long!!! I've tried a few of the "old wives tales" re TTC. Some have some merit, but others don't.
-Have your DH wear boxers.
-Take robitussin (thins cervical mucus).
-Drink grapefruit juice (increases cervical mucus).
-Take baby aspirin.

Also, if you are stuck with us for a while, I would consider at least having yourself and your DH tested so that you know what you may be up against. My DH and I already have one child, so we aren't too willing to do too much as far as fertility treatments go. Sounds like we would try a few more things than you, though. One of the best things we've done so far is get tested. Even though the results weren't good (I have insulin issues and DH has sperm issues), it was a huge relief to know that there was a cause to our TTC problems. And at least now we know what we are facing and what our options may be instead of just waiting and being disappointed month after month. It'll be 2 years next month for us.

As far as the questions go, we've been pretty lucky in that department. For a while we kept getting asked when we would have another child. I would answer that we were trying. I think after 2 years, they realize we either have problems TTC or decided against another child. I've mentioned to a few family members that we're having some problems. But for the most part I've been lucky...other than, like you, my cousins are baby making machines as well. As is my best friend. It's hard, and I'm still dealing with anger and bitterness about it all. I try to be a bigger, stronger person, but I'm just not.

Good luck!!

:surfweb: Just checking in looking for some good news.
Any positive results????

Going into the 2ww here. :hourglass
This TTC cycle sure gets boring after a while. :bored:

My fingers are crossed for you! Good luck! And thank you so much for your kind words.

Good for you! Congrats-you are almost there! Hope you are staying sane during your bed rest!

It was everything I could do to keep from testing this morning. I actually didn't think that I had any tests, so it was easy not to test when I first wole up. But of course then I just HAD to go looking, and I found 2 from last month that didn't get used. But I resisted the temptation. Don't know if I can hold out until Saturday morning...

I am dying to know, and I will be out of town this weekend. You gotta test tomorrow! :cool1: (How is that for helping your willpower!) :rotfl:

Yeah, I think tomorrow morning is as long as I'll be able to hold out anyway. I'll post back when I test! :thumbsup2

Be sure to pee bright and early. I'm going to check at 6am. :hyper:

Ok...I'm now in the 2 week wait club.

I hate the 2ww...:worried:

Me too. I'm really hating this 4ww (ow whatever the heck this is turning out to be). I need to get off my butt and call the doc to start again for this month, but I almost don't even care.

I think I need to escape TTC and pregnant people. Another girl I work with is TTC, and has had 3 miscarriages in a row. Yet another girl I work with just found out she's oops-pregnant. Another of the guys at work wife is pregnant with twins. Holy crap, are we a hormonal place! And there are only 7 of us there!

I need to cheer up :(

I'm sorry to make you all wait, but I was a little late getting started this morning, and work has been crazy.

Well, I tested and it was a BFN. :(
I'll test again tomorrow and the next day and the next day as long as You-KNow-Who doesn't show up. I'll keep you posted.

I'm sorry Christal :worried: But try again tomorrow. Maybe you were just a day too early.

:( Bummer!!
But, as long as you're still sore and crabby, that's a good sign.

Jen - Sorry your place is so hormonal. I've worked at a place like that before.

Christal - I am sorry about the BFN. Fingers crossed that it is just to early to test.

Jen - I agree about the hormonal workspace. We have lots of pregnant folks here as well including one that I gave my maternity clothes to after I lost the baby in March. It is really hard to see her wearing "my clothes".
