Well my hcg was 178 and progesterone was greater than 20 which is all fine and dandy. Of course they really don't mean anything alone. I go back for another draw on Friday to see if they are increasing like they are supposed to be.

WDW-It's good news! Try to keep your hopes up for now-I know it's hard. Keep in mind that when I went in for my 2 day (I actually went back 3 days later) my numbers hadn't doubled, and I had to go in again 3 days later. Now, I'm nearly all the way through. The doubling doesn't mean everything-the numbers don't always double perfectly. That may not be anything you have to worry about, but just know that it can work out!! I'm really happy for you. I hope you're starting a streak on here!

Yay!! I'm soooo excited!!!

Hope they are nice and high Friday. (and I have no doubt they will!)

So this is my morning so far! My receptionist has started a new job so I got a temp until I fill the position. Temp came in and accidentially spilled water over the phone mother board. Phone Motherboard is now fried!:scared1: All calls are coming to me for the day and my boss is in a POOOOOPY mood! Then I find out that her computer has a VIRUS:scared1: Seriously!:headache: Then I need to go to the dentist at 2:30 because I have a lesion on my tongue since Christmas that has not gone away :scared1: and I stupidly googled it and it's possible it could be REALLY BAD!!! I'm hoping it is because of my vitamin D deficiancy but I'm scared poohless!:scared1: I finally sent the temp receptionist home because I was afraid her bad juju would affect my follies and anything else!

I sound nutz don't I . . . :crazy2: No need to answer. . . I know.:goodvibes:upsidedow

Sounds like a poooopy day! Hope tomorrow is better!!

Sounds good to me:thumbsup2

I had a feeling!! :headache: (that's why I asked)

sorry your DH is sick!

This was my 3rd one too. I'm testing this week and I'm scared out of my mind!!!! I am supposed to test tomorrow but I might wait. I just keep going back and forth on it!! :scared1:

So believe me I know how you feel. These things just take so much out of you emotionally and physically. It's hard to keep your hopes up when you go through it again and again. I hope I get my BFP this week, and you follow me!

I'm sooooo rooting for you CHERBEAR!!!! :cheer2:

WDW- I just wanted to stop in and say I am so happy for you.

Well girls we are on our long drive home and stopped over in SC. I will check in with everyone else this weekend.

I sooooooooo need to vent right now.....

Someone I know got pregnant 6 months ago and had an abortion. She just found out she is pregnant AGAIN and since she likes this guy who got her pregnant...she is keeping it. Makes me wanna throw up:sick: And this woman is NO teenager....she is 36 years old!!! This is the 3rd time she had gotten pregnant in the last 2 years....with 2 abortions. How noble of her to decide to keep the 3rd one.:headache:

I think we know the same person . Not really, but I know someone who did almost the same thing (also well beyond her teenage years!)...

Well I am at a crossroads. Allergy season has started and I know I told you guys already how bad my allergies are and I can't take my nasal spray while TTCing (nothing else works for me- not Claritin, Benadryl or Zyrtec). During allergy season (when I am not on my meds) my husband and I have to sleep in separate rooms, I get very little sleep and I am miserable all day and night.

I was getting ready to move into the guest room, because the thought of skipping 2-3 months of trying is making me sick to my stomach. But the thought of ruining our trip to Europe and suffering through three months of awfulness again and still not getting pregnant is also making me sick to my stomach.

Sorry...just needed to vent.

Ledger and Kennyswife--

Soontobewed- I hope you had a great time, I'll have to read your trip report!

Esbrick- I hope everything turns out okay. It is probably nothing, but I have scared myself with googling before too :goodvibes

WDW- I hope everything is going okay and that you can relax and enjoy it all soon!

Happy Tuesday everyone!

I got a BFN today, sorry I didn't post earlier but I guess you can see why.

I used a FRER too, I was SO hoping it would be positive.

The plan is to test again Thursday, but possibly tomorrow too, depending on what my BBT does. Then Friday since DH and I are both off, we will request a blood test to confirm, whether BFN or BFP by then. If it's a BFN I'd prefer to verify by a beta before I discontinue the progesterone.

By the way, who all temps here? Here's my chart if anyone wants to take a looksie. http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/24a255

I went to see my dx today about my stomach cramps (I have IBS) and thought that it was just because I had the flu I was still having them. Nope. She put me on an antispasmodic medication for IBS. It turns out that my IBS keeps flaring up and I need help with controlling it.

Oh goody. :headache:

Oh well. At least I know I am over the flu now though. Kenny's still fighting his and AF is gone for the month. The meds they put me on is in generic form which is good. It has the least side effects and works pretty well. Hey, maybe my attacks will stop now.

I go into see my gyno at the end of the month to see where we go from here.

Anna

Cherbear - your chart looks fantastic!! I can't believe you got a BFN. I'm not convinced. Here's to lots of high temps and a BFP by the end of the week!!

Thanks. I just wonder if the high temps are caused by the progesterone. But I'm on the same dose as the last 2 IUI's and my temps have never even gotten STEADY before. They always bounce around like CRAZY. So this is a new ball game for me. I just hope I win the game this time. :rotfl:

Anna - Sorry about the IBS flare-ups, but getting on medication is good. Hopefully that will take care of it for you.

Cherbear - are you taking progesterone orally or is it a suppository? I'm taking it and it's a suppository and I hate it. If it's the best for me I'll stick with it, but I'd much rather take it orally if it works as well.

I'm taking it orally. "supposedly" there's less side effects with taking it ******lly, but Carla still seemed to have a lot of the same side effects and she took it ******lly (Leger13)

I'm going to ask my doctor about taking it orally. It's just so messy. On the days I have bootcamp I wait until afterwards to "take" it....but out of 3 days I have forgotten it 2. Of course I take one in the morning and one at night so I think I'm okay....and my level said I was....but it would be much easier orally. My doc did say it's more expensive in pill form.....but as horrible as it sounds I don't care. I maxed out my flex plan in anticipation of IUI and having a baby .....only it has happened quicker than I thought it would (WoooooHOOOOO - I am so not complaining) and my DH's insurance is great - it will only cost me $250 to have the baby (Maybe - $500 - I'm not sure if the baby will be charged the same copay....sometimes they are sometimes they aren't). So far I have spent around $1000 - had to have a crown and then of course multiple copays - but that leaves almost $2000 I have available for medical expenses this year.

That stinks!!!! Hope the meds work.

T&T - That so makes me mad about that chic having the abortion and getting pregnant so often. Ugh!!!! Just burns me up

Anna ~ So sorry bout the IBS but so glad you are on meds. DH had that and it is very uncomfortable. The meds were a God send!:thumbsup2

Cher ~ It's not over yet chickie! Not until the ugly witch shows her self;) There is still a chance!

soontobewed ~ Safe travels!

Went to the Dr yesterday and had a piece of my tongue cut out! :scared1: I was ok in the beginning but now I have a bruise on my tongue too! I had to call the drs office last night though to make sure I could take the amoxicillin and the tylenol with codine! I'm cleared to take them both so I will bring in the perscriptions this afternoon so now I am drinking my decafe iced coffee and trying to figure out what I can have for lunch that is soft. Heck at least i'll lose a couple of pounds! There's always a silver lining!:goodvibes
