Ugh... more spotting today. Someone shoot me! Or at least tell me to schedule the D&C or something... ugh.

:grouphug:

I agree with WDW and esbrick, try to relax and think positive. I know it will be really hard, but getting upset won't help anything either

Call your Dr and let them know. I'm thinking good thoughts for you and hoping everything turns out well. We're all here for you.

Mrs. Charming -
Keep us posted on how you are doing...we're here for you. Also know that I'm continuing to pray for you and your baby.

Well my temperature plummeted today so I'm thinking that this cycle is a bust....now I'm trying to decide if I should go ahead and make an appt with the doctor now or wait.

Thank you all so much for your support and hugs :grouphug: I seriously love you all. I really need it right now, thank you. I kept on waking up last night in fear that they're going to find something wrong later... I am so scared. I can't tell if this nausea is just me making myself sick from worry or what.. ugh. Sometimes I just don't "feel" pregnant, and that scares the living daylights out of me. I guess I really had no idea how much the m/c really damaged me, until now.

WDW-- just make the appt. If you do end up pregnant, you'll either confirm pregnancy or have a leg up.:hug: I know this is hard.

Just butting in here. I follow along and pray for you all. I have been a member of this board before....the support I received was astounding.

Anyway - I just wanted to tell you that with both of my successful pregnancies, I spotted. A lot. I had u/s with both of my son's at just over 6 weeks and such because of said spotting. It's terrifying and knocks your confidence down. I was put on pelvic rest with my second son b/c of it - until 17 weeks or so.

You just gotta try and keep your chin up until the doctor says otherwise.

Unfortuntely, spotting is common in pregnancy. It just scares the crud out of you in the mean time.

I would, however, as for another beta/prog check just to set your mind at ease. When is your next u/s?

Hi Minnesota! You're not butting in at all. This spotting crap really is terrifying. Just when I think it's over, it starts again. :scared1:

I guess how I feel about it is that spotting is common, except when it's MY spotting, then it's bad news... if that makes sense at all?

Thankfully my u/s is today, I'm not sure if they're planning on bloodwork, but I'm definitely going to ask for it. Hopefully they'll agree.

Thanks for "butting in" lol...

Mrs. C please let ud know how it goes! I'm sending baby dust and stuff for u for a sticky bean.

D&DD How's u?

Allison~ u ok?

All my ladies sending hugs and Baby Dust!

Just checking to see if Mrs. Charming had been back. I hope evrything is okay. I've been thinking about you today, and sending sticky baby dust your way!

OK... so.. I have a yolk sac inside of a pregnancy sac! It grew since Sunday, and the Dr saw no signs of active bleeding.. so YAY! We didn't get to see a baby yet, but since I'm going for weekly ultrasounds, I'm a little more relieved. Actually I'm really relieved. I just want to see a heartbeat, darnit! My guard isn't completely down, but it won't be until said baby is about a year old.

So on a side note, I told my MIL and Grandma-in-law today, and they were happy... buuuuut they were like did you hear about SIL? She's pregnant too! It wasn't planned, and she might be having a miscarriage, but she doesn't really seem too upset. I nearly freaking choked. Actually, I wanted to choker HER. It's not even because of the pregnancy-- she gets everything handed to her on a silver platter, and DH and I have to work our butts off for every little stinking thing we have. I thought I had no respect for her before, but any shred of respect I had for her... gone. Out the window.

WDWorBUST, did you make your appointment?

Mrs. C - so glad to hear things are still going well! I totally get your frustration. Been there!

We have decided to take a break from TTC becuase we have a trip planned for October 2010 and we are taking my DSis and her DD. Soo, we are on hold and trying to get healthier before we give it another try.

I didn't make an appt yet....I will try to do that today. My temperature has continued to stay low though, barely staying above the coverline so I'm really expecting AF today. I did request a refill on my clomid though. I guess we'll see.

Mrs. Charming - So glad things looked fine and you will have the peace of mind of weekly ultrasounds.

MommaSnowWhite - I understand completely. Good luck!

Mrs. Charming- still crossing my fingers for you and I am glad that right now it all looks good!

MommaSnowWhite- good luck, maybe it will be helpful to focus on a new goal of getting healthy (since they say we should take our minds off of TTC anyway...but it's so hard!), and at least you have a trip to look forward to and to start planning!

Still thinking of everyone in here and trying to spread positive thoughts for all of us. I have been keeping myself very busy and I think it's helping.

Sometimes a break is what we need! Nothing wrong with getting healthier, either :goodvibes

Hi there, my name is Cheri, and I'd LOVE to join your thread here. Carla (Leger13) told me about this, and I'm thrilled that there's a TTC thread on the DIS!

My husband and I have been TTC for a year now (made the year mark on New Year's day). We tried naturally for a while, KNOWING that DH has low testosterone and most likely would not be able to conceive. However, he was not ready to see the Dr until August. He had some testing soon after that and we didn't get the bad news until the next month or so (luckily AFTER we returned from our Disney trip in September).

We decided to go with a donor, and we have had one failed IUI (in November) and are trying again this month. I'm CD 9 today and I go in for my ultrasound and bloodwork next Tuesday. If my follies are ready then we'll do the trigger either in the office, or at home that evening--with the IUI to follow Wednesday morning (with the in office shot) or Thursday morning (if I do the shot at home).

Congrats to all the BFP's here! I'm at work but I will write more later, I have some commenting to do on what I have read. :goodvibes

Welcome cherbear! Crossing my fingers for you now too- I hope this IUI is the one for you guys.

I have to say I am so impressed with the shots that many of you are able to give yourselves...I can barely put in my own eye drops during allergy season :lmao:

Haha that's like my DH... he can't do eye drops, ear drops, you name it!

It's amazing what we'll subject ourselves to when it comes to havign a baby!

Hey Cheri!! Welcome, and good luck!! :goodvibes

thanks!! Send me some of your baby dust, I know you've got some over there. :rotfl:

Thank you! I hope so too! My mom's bday is Feb 9th and it would be AWESOME to give her the best bday gift ever! She doesn't know we are TTC, in fact the only people that know are my BFF and my husband's BFF. I can't believe I've kept it a secret THIS LONG!

I haven't given myself a shot yet, and I'm a tad nervous. DH is ready to "give me a shot in the a$$" as he puts it. Although I think it will be in my tummy right??
For my first IUI, I had the trigger in the office. Then the next morning we did the IUI. But, I chart, and I wasn't happy with the timing because my temp didn't go up the next day like I expected. It went DOWN on the day I was "supposed to O" and up the next day. So I asked them if we could do the shot at home like I've heard some women are doing, and they said they'd have to order it for me. So I got it in the mail yesterday, so that we'll be ready if they allow me to trigger at home. This way I can do the shot Tuesday night, and have the IUI Thursday morning, about 36 hours later. For you ladies that have done IUI, how was the timing on it?

Also has anyone ever taken tamoxifen as a fertility drug? My RE has me on 40 mg this cycle (20 mg for my last IUI) because it's good for the uterine lining unlike clomid which can thin the lining. Last time my lining looked "great" on the 20 mg of tamoxifen.

Sorry I'm coming with questions right away, I know I just joined the thread but you ladies seem quite helpful!
