Just wondering, when you enter the ride after the 3rd track is complete, will you be able to pick the 3rd track or will the entrance and ride loading be the same?

I'm sure that you'll be able to ASK, but like anything else, the CM there at the time will be the final word.
(And, I don't know why the CM would have any objections to a request.)

Unless the 3rd track is specifically tied to FP+ or SB. You might not be able to switch if it's FP+ and you rode SB, and vice versa.

And I believe this is what is anticipated to happen.

I was also thinking they would dedicate a track to fast pass plus. Also I wouldn't think the new track would be any different.

They can use the new track for FP,
and use the two existing tracks for standby.

OR, they can use the two existing tracks for FP.
and use the new track for standby.

Whichever fits their needs at the time of day, and/or
how many FP that they decide to issue.

Funny thing is I didn't even know there were two tracks there now. (Other than hearing it from the Dis) It seems I am always on the same one. I dont know how or where they split off. Guess I never really paid attention.

They both load at the same station.
Since they SPLIT after you board, most guests likely wouldn't notice if they were on a different (or the same) track each time.

Planned to look more closely last week but I was busy having a shootout with the girl in front of me after we loaded into our cars and never looked around.
