New trip new resort needs.

Okay. We had a trip planned for Dec 2014. It was Christmas based and we were excited to stay at AKV Kidani. My main draw there was 3rd bathroom. That "season" even savannah view wasn't a lot of points.

We are having to postpone to June 2015. I've booked at home resort SSR for now but at 7mos will possibly move. Where to move?

With those teens the 3rd bathroom was attractive. But in Dec pool wasn't that important.

Now that we are going in June outdoor activities are a lot more important. Also, we are in a more expensive DVC season and Kidani Savannah will be a good bit more pts than it was in Dec.

So, what to do... What to do???

You know, I might just stick w/ SSR and upgrade to a grand villa for the extra baths. Walking distance to DTD for kids that age and dining for all of you. There are a couple of good pools there. Points aren't too bad there. I happen to also like the 'food court.' Kidani is very nice; it's our favorite after our home resort of OKW, but SSR could help you out if points are a concern.

I've always wanted to stay in a GV but at SSR it will be 597 pts. OKW will be 396. At that point i'll only have 311 pts to use.

DH and I were talking and if we can find a 2 Bdrm with living room access we will go with that. He actually wants to try BCV. Storm-along Bay for the kids would be great.

Our thoughts right now are
* stay at SSR
* BCV
* VWL

We will just see what is avail at 7 mos.

If any of you are Star Wars fans and your trip will be at the beginning of June, you may look at BWV or BCV to the proximity of DHS for Star Wars Weekends. Stormalong Bay is an amazing pool, but I think more so for younger kids due to the sand to play with.

SAB is wonderful...we own there and were glad to get a 2 bedroom, with two queens in the second bedroom. That's a booking category. That said,the OKW GV are great, two floors, four bathrooms, four TVs..I would consider renting points or transferring the balance that you need to book!
