New trip never been - please help (Thank you)

Sorry did not think you got it unless you took to package. I take it you do then thanks?:confused3

You can arrange it yourself online I believe once your have your hotel booked.

When I was looking last year flights for the end of Sept came out at the end of Oct begining of Nov- they were £360 each then..... Now they are £539 or as cheap as £476 if you change your dates about (this is from Manchester flying with virgin)

is that for 2 :confused3

Think that sounds like a plan just wait just wanted to have it all in place and sorted but it looks like to get a much better deal and the DDP it is going to be much better just to start saving and book it all when the flights come out.

Can any one tell me what a Refillable Resort Mug is???

To Upgrade the DDP makes it £2398
+ £800 flight
= £3198 (I Like this option)

Thanks again every one think you have my perfect first holiday to orlando thank you!:goodvibes

No those prices are each... £800 for both is a good estimate I think.

I think upgrading to DDP is a good option we're also looking for do this.

http://www.wdisneyw.co.uk/mugprice.html

Its free with Quick service DDP but not if you upgrade to regular.
They only cost $12.49 anyways so probably worth it for 21 days. Free sodas, coffee etc. for your entire stay.

Is that from all the parks or just your hotel?

Do you think it would be worth going back to the Thomas cook shop when I was there to book the package she could book me flights with Virgin would it be an idea to see how much they were on there own?

Thanks again every one!

Just read throught his thread and i deffiently agree about booking DIY rather than a package it can certainly save you quite abit of money, and its what i plan to do for my next trip sadly this won't be till may 2011 :(

Last time i went was in september and it was great the ques were practially non exsistant we walked on to almost everything, the weather was hot a couple of rainy afternoons but it soon cleared up quick enough.

In regards to your flights, if you book DIY the flights will be released 11months prior to your return date so say your plan to return 27th sep then your flights wil be released around 27th october this year, some people like to book them straight away so they know they are booked but Virgin Atlantic always (well have done every year for the past for years) had a flight sale at the end of dec/early jan and you will probably get flights for about £300 each (i booked flights in the sale with them to LA new years eve last year in the sale for £330)

Are you sure you will need a 21 day Disney ticket? even if you are there for 21 days surely you won't go in Disney everyday of your holiday and maybe a 14 ticket will be enough? but thats personal choice (we will be there for 17 nights on our trip but i plan to only get 7 or 10 day Magic your way tickets for Disney)

Also check Disney.com aswell as co.uk for hotel prices, they do differant deals for hotel prices.

The refillable mugs are $12 and can be used at your hotel for free refills of water, soft drinks, coffee, hot chocolate :)

Thanks mate will take in to consideration what you said.

It was only about £40 more for the extra week so I thought why not.

Just in your hotel, Disney don't do a refillable park mug(yet)
I have never found Travel agents any cheaper than on the internet but anything is possible.

A 21 day ticket will make it a lot easier for booking 21 days of free dining, also if anything like us we like to goto MK on 1st day and on last day but everyones different, 14 day ticket could be worked. Only £40pp saving with a 14 day instead of 21, wouldn't be worth it to me

I agree
To me its just the flexibility being about to go to US then pop back a go in to one of the Disney parks for EMH…

i wouldn't do it through a travel agent,i think with all the fantastic advice, you are getting on here, you will be able to do it yourself,so much cheaper.the worst bit, will be waiting for your flights to be released, because if you are like me,you want them booked NOW!
i have our townhouse booked, for oct 2010,won't be able to book, our flights until probably december,as we are looking to fly back,on nov 6th,but the waiting,is killing me!
but doing it d.i.y,will be worth it,for the savings,to be had.
you are getting some great advice:)

Hi all

Just wanted to say a big big thank you to every one who has helped me sort my holiday out just want to book it now but need to wait for the flights to come available just 2 more question (I promise)

- Is £800 a good budget for flights for 2 people,
- Who is best to go with BA virgin and when is the best time to buy,

Once again thank you every one:wizard:

Not been BA but Virgin were very good. I am also budgetting on the same price for flights for me and bf.

Hi again! I think BA and Virgin are pretty similar for economy flights. I flew with them last Jan and they were fine. I think the interior of the planes look a bit newer than virgin but I would just go with whoever is cheaper!

When are you going have you booked your hotel?

Looks like there are a lot of people going next sep time should keep an eye out for those flights and if you see and good price let us all know?

So who is going next sep time??

I'm 50/50 for next september....depends what the AP rate is like and how much wedding planning needs done.

Although I'm tempted to go in November instead and see the Xmas decs....
