New Tracfones...

Tracfone is offering some new smart phones.

Alcatel onetouch Pop Icon Android with quad core processor and 5 inch screen.

LG Ultimate 2 Android with dual core processor and 4.5 inch screen.

QVC also has a couple of new LG Tracfones with 4.5 in screens and dual core proceessors. These are priced with 1200/1200/1.2g for $139.00.

DD13 has the LG Optimus Dynamic which she likes. I don't think she's done much if anything with the data though. The bad thing about the smart phones is each text takes 1 minute instead of .3. The trade off is that you get a unit of talk, text, AND data for every unit you have (ie her 2600 units turned into 2600 talk, 2600 texts, and 2.6 MB data). Which is great if you talk and text, but she primarily texts. But, we needed to get her on the Verizon network and the other options were not cool...

tracfone smart phones is on Verizon network.

Friends on howardforums.com says the LG Ultimate 2 is the best one
