New to this! Need 2 BDR for 1 week in Jan '05

I only vaguely understand this! My family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids--9, 9 & 12) is looking for 2 bdr accomodations "on property" at WDW. We're on a budget, so if we can't find a reasonable price, we will have to stay "off property". We realize it will cost more and are willing to pay to stay at Disney if we can fit it into our budget.

I checked the points it would take to stay at a 2BR villa at Old Key West checking in January 2, checking out January 8. This would take 196 points (and probably takes the least amount of points of the DVC resorts, with the possible exception of Sarasota Springs). I believe the limit for a 1 bedroom was recently increased from 4 occupants to 5. This would take less points. The going rate is $10-11 per point unless you find someone who has points that are going to expire and are willing to sell much cheaper.

I think we would be more comfortable in a 2 bdr. How do I find out about what's available? Do you have enough points for the 2 bdr? How much are you asking?

I can call as soon as I leave work in about a half hour to check on availability. Yes, I do have points to cover this at $10 per point. I will let you know as soon as I can (early evening) what availability is and provide you with additional information regarding cancellation, etc.
