New to this board, cast member of 4+ years

Hi guys, I'm new to the boards, was doing some research on Disneyland before my next trip down in Sept, and came across the forums.

I have worked for the Mouse since 2008, and very proud of it!

I hope to be a more permanent fixture here since I am obsessed with Disney since I was little. When I was about 8, my family took our first trip to Disneyland. In high school, I did a presentation where I "transformed" myself into Walt Disney (suit, fake mustache, drawing of mickey). Little did I know that my career would eventually lead me to TWDC. My first time walking through the entry tunnel to Main Street in Disneyland as an employee was my proudest moment, knowing I now represented what I have loved my whole life. It is a much different feeling as a cast member to see how happy kids and adults are when they see, hear, and speak anything Disney.

I'll do my best to share what I can. Of course, there are many things confidential that I am not allowed to speak about, so please be respectful.

Pirates of the Caribbean is my favorite ride hands down. My favorite movie is The Great Mouse Detective.

Welcome! I just joined the boards myself I love reading things online from cast members, getting to hear a little bit about what goes on "behind the curtain" is always fun. It never takes away from the experience for me, either. I just get to babble on to my boyfriend about the little secrets I've learned. Hope you have a great trip!
