New to this board... a question or two! :)

hi all. im Dan. i normally can be found stalking the disneyland paris board or the VMK board lol, but have decided to venture into *shock horror* the photography board!
i am quite a keen amateur photographer and loooove taking millions of pics when i visit disney. usually all my pics end up on flickr and i just direct ppl to them, but i thought i could share them here too.
so what do i do?
and how many pics is reasonable?
do you actually post whole threads with pics in? or is more of a discussion thing about one or two or your best shots?
a nudge in the right direction would be a good start lol
anyway to get myself into the swing of things and give you a taste of what kinda pics i take, ive posted some below

Nice pics!

To answer some of the questions. If you have a question related to photography, ask it on this board. If you want oppinions of pics you've taken, you can post the pic and ask away.

The best way to share pics here, is to get into the contests!!! They have one a week that gives a subject, like this week is Main Street. FUN!

There are designing contest here too. All for fun, no "real" prizes.

There's no real rules about how to post your pictures (though generally you don't want them so big that we have to scroll left to right), feel free to post however you feel comfortable. Welcome!

There is no rule on picture posting. There isn't even really a "rule of thumb". Each member probably has their own personal "rule". I like to post 4-5 pics on each post and will spread it over a few posts if necessary. I like upping my posts total.

How about some more info on yourself.... What are you using for equipment?

I'm guessing you have a lot of memory and a super size hard drive if your taking millions of pictures at Disney...

Hi thanks for the replies! I have found people on the Photography Board very friendly so far!
As for equiptment, well I'm by no means a professional, hell I'm barely amateur!! lol - I just enjoy taking photographs
My current camera is Pentax Optio T10.
If you were to look back at my pics I've posted before elsewhere, then it may be with other cameras, but here on the P.B it will be the Pentax unless otherwise stated
