We are so incredibly excited to say that we are headed to the Fort for the first time in August. I've been reading all of your amazing tips and looking at all the fantastic pictures. We can't wait to get there. See ya real soon!

We try to get there every year. We've stayed in different loops with our RV, but we also had a great experience in the cabins! Enjoy.

Adriawest,

Welcome to the Camping forums. Sounds like you've been reading up on the latest Fort stories so you know August will be pretty warm. Depending on when in August you are going, it will either be normal summer busy or pretty nice with a lot of schools going back mid month.

Tell us a little more about your trip. When are you going? What type of site? Are you towing or driving a MH or camping?

Welcome to the Fort! We'll be there end of July begining August,

Thank you everyone for your kind welcome. My little family of four (DH 36, myself 34, DS10, DD7) love to camp. We also love WDW. We've been 6 times in the past 7 years.. It's our absolute favorite place! This year I've talked my husband into combining our two great loves and heading out there with our 38' fifth wheel. He was some what skeptical, seeing as how we are normally monorail resort peeps....but never the less, the more we discussed it the more excited he became too. We'll be out there the 3rd week of August. When we go in the summer, it's usually the last week before school starts back or the week after it lets out. We try to avoid nightmare level crowds. We've booked a premium site and I've been pouring over your "take a pic of your site" thread. We are psyched!!

Have you searched "Fort Wilderness loops" on Youtube yet? That is fun to see as well as far as a little idea about what the different loops are like...

Thanks. I've checked out the youtube videos (I'm liking loop 1400) and looked at a few of your websites. I appreciate all of your tips!
