Hello, I'm new to the DIS. I'm [almost] 20 years old. I'm an annual pass holder. Let me start by giving you my IOA/USO background.
July 2002-First trip to IOA with high school youth group. I was thought this place was amazing! I rode my first roller coaster, the Hulk. (Space Mountain doesn't count to me)
April 2006- After spending A LOT of money at the local county fair on 5 rides and rigged games, my boyfriend and I decided our money could be better spent elsewhere...so...
May 2006- First time back to IOA in 4 years!! I was SO excited about this trip! We only went down for the day and drove home the same night, but I had a blast! I was so proud of myself because by the end of the day I *finally* opened my eyes during the launch on the Hulk!
July 2006- We found the Beall's deal, so we stayed for 2 days offsite and bought express passes. I didn't realize then that we could have stayed onsite for the same price and had endless rides! This was also my first time at Universal Studios.
August 2006- My aunt came down to visit us, and we discussed going on a 1 day trip to USO/IOA with my sister. However, I thought we decided that going down for just one day would be too rushed, a lot of money, etc. Well, the next morning at 8:30 I find out we're going anyway! So we got our stuff together quickly and we were at the parks by noon. Good thing they stayed open till 10:00 PM! I had fun, but it felt kind of rushed the whole day. She mentioned she liked Disney better for a number of reasons, but I'm convinced that if it hadn't been so jammed pack she would have had more fun! Oh well! Ate at the Hardrock Cafe for the first time this trip, it was amazing
October 2006- Stayed for 2 days offsite again. I know! What I am thinking? Well, I researched the crowd levels for these days would be and decided there was no need for FOTL just yet. We went on Columbus day and the next day. Crowds were decent, definitely did not see a need for FOTL or express, so that worked out great.
There you have it. I could go on and on about everything we did on those trips, but then it would probably be moved to the trip report board.
I will be going back to the parks next week for my birthday! I'm so excited because we are going to see iVillage live one of those days. I have tons of pictures that I hope to post as soon as my posts increase.
