FI and I are planning out honeymoon at WDW(8/8-8/12). We'll be staying at the Contemporary 14th floor. Does anyone have tips on honeymoon planning and/or reviews thoughts of the Contemporary? FI and I went to disney last April together, so this won't be our first togeth and it is my 7th and his 2nd trip there.

Thanks!

Sarah

defintely have dinner at the california grill on the top of the contemporary the 15th floor. they have a great view of the castle & even dim the lights, tap into the music score for the magic kingdom fireworks. great panaromic view! and yummy california style foods. to make a ps 407-wdw-dine. when we stayed at the wilderness lodge, we did the parasailing from the contemporary which was alot of fun too.

also take a look at the other dis boards for trip planning, etc. buy or rent a wdw travel book from the library. we like birnbaums official walt disney world guide & there guide for adults, and the passporter wdw. you'll get plenty of ideas. from the magic of the parks, great restaurants (our favorites are cinderellas royal table, le cellier steakhouse, le originale alfredos, artist point, cape may cafe the list goes on & on), the boardwalk (very romantic, nostalgic & fun, we love jellyrolls) spa treatments (they have a couples treatment at the grand floridian), wdw tours (we did the dolphins in depth at epcot & backstage safari at animal kingdom recently which was the best), dtd and other recreational entertainment (like firework cruises, horseback riding).

you'll have a great wdw honeymoon! congrats!

definitely make some priority seating arrangements 90 days before you leave. I just finished all of mine. I would definitely reccommend California Grill and Victoria & Alberts.

thanks for the suggestions. I have left the ps arrangements up to my FI (he knows that I really would like to do the California Grill and possibly Victoria & Alberts.)

Since we are going in August do you have any suggestions about things to pack, or be aware of. I know it is hurricane season, but I am hoping for nice weather *fingers crossed* :mickeybar

It's very HOT and HUMID. Well in the 90º's. Lots of shorts and tee shirts. Be sure to wear plenty of sunscreen. I always bring extra socks and underwear because it's so hot and sticky.

I've always wanted to stay 14th floor at CR, you will have a great time!
