New to the Boards

Hello to a fellow Islander! Loggged a great many miles on the Southern State! Now we're out east and have to take the LIE to get anywhere. We'll be at the Beach Club in August-counting down the days. (But-not with the countdown timer on these boards-can't figure out how to do it!) I'm sure your family will have a wonderful time-we've never stayed at the Polynesian, but we've always heard raves about it. Are you leaving from MacArthur? We've pretty much dismissed going to JFK anymore because of the traffic.

I'm in HIcksville, so I'm still learning to navigate the LIE and Northern State

We're leaving from JFK-- the commute isn't bad, and we got $99 pp each way when I booked in late December. Those same flights are up to $149 now, so it's $500 in our pocket, not Jetblue's and I'm on happy flier!
