Planning on buying Fl Annual passes for my family of 4 3 adults 1 kid.

I had planned on using the flexpay option but after researching I see that I won't be eligible for a renewal discount if I choose to renew and that I must request in writing 30 days in advance to cancel flexpay when my year is up. Here are the questions I have based on old threads

If I stay on flexplan through my renewal, I don't get a discount but my annual pass rate does not change even if there is a price increase? Is this still true?

If I decided to renew but cancel my flexplan option 30 days before it is set to renew. I then can call and renew my passes at a substantial discounted rate? This option is pay up front?

Thanks- I couldn't find any recent threads with this information- the ones I found were several years old and things change.

Pretty sure the rules haven't changed. What you've stated above is what I believe to be still true. If you don't cancel 30 days before the end of your year, you will continue to be charged monthly until you cancel. Remember that the second year monthly charges will be different than the first year because you won't be making any deposit for the second year. However, I do think that the continuing yearly rate is locked in from your first year.

I'm sure others who use the flex plan will chime in.

Damo is absolutely right. I tried to do this a few years ago and ended up speaking to a few supervisors. There always a catch. How can they offer no interest payments. The only thing flexpay has is the rate will never go up after the first year.

Are you able to cancel 30 days before and still be eligible for the discount? Buying my passes tomorrow and I am trying to decided which way to go.

Hoping somone can answer question above. I did purchase the tickets using flex pay. The contract states that it will automatically renew at the CURRENT annual passholder rate- in case anyone wants to know this information.

Looking forward to our visit

What you state then there will be no discount. This is the biggest issue with flexpay.

I have been on the florida resident flex pay for 3 years now, first year my monthly payment was $11 (after the deposit), then last year went up monthly to $14 per month, and that's where it still is this year. So from what I can tell, as long as I don't allow it to lapse, the price of the pass doesn't increase but you don't get the renewal discount either.

Absolutely correct. I have ALSO had a fl resident annual pass on flexpay for 3 years, and my monthly prices are the same. Went fom $8 a month to $14. It's a very good deal to me, even without getting that discount.
