I'm sure over the next few months I'll be posting many questions here related to using our new DVC membership. Sorry if these seem silly to some of you vets, but this is actually easier than calling member services or looking in our books.
1st question: I think I know the answer, but is it possible to "split up" a vacation between 2 resorts? I would love to stay at one of the nice, new resorts for some of our stays, but not use the high number of points for the whole week. So, for instance, is it doable to stay 3 nights at Bay Lake Tower (when they open) and 4 nights at Boardwalk Villas?
2nd question: If I were to do the above scenario, and wanted to purchase the DDP for trip, could I just purchase it for the 3 nights at Bay Lake Tower? And if this is possible, would I have to use it on those specific days, or would the plan still be activated during the 4 days at Boardwalk Villas?
I think you know what I'm asking. I love the idea of the DDP, but am not sure I would want it for the whole trip. This would be a great way to break it up, but don't know if this is possible.
Thanks in advance for your help. It's good to be HOME!!!!!!
