New to Disboards from California

I am planning on going to DisneyWorld in December and have been reading many posts to help with my questions. Thought is was time to say Hi. I am a older married disney lover from Sacramento. We have been to Disneyland so many times I can not count them and the trip in December will be our 4 trip the last in 2007. I travel for work had some free trips so just DH and I are going to enjoy the holidays.

We are from the Sacramento area also. We are getting very excited. Visited Disneyland and CA adventure more times than I can count. Last went to WDW Thanksgiving 2005.

I have been using the Boards for information, even used it to select our Stateroom! Thought it was about time I registered.

This will be our first cruise as a family. I'll go and post on that Board also.

We are going Dec 4-15. After we booked I found out about the Pop Warner, Disney Parade taping and Mousefest. Oh my, I hope we can still have a good time. We booked longer so that we can take our time and enjoy the parks.

We were originally going to go about December 5 for a week since the 4th was Lynn's birthday and I thought it would be nice to celebrate it then. But Lynn talked me into Xmas week because friends we have done DCL cruises with were going to be there for Xmas. I tried to talk her out of the idea but lost. Good thing we are renting a car this time so we are not stuck with Dis crowds. If I had not already made the flight resies I would change the time frame we visit.
