My hubby and I are going to Disneyland this Dec 6th-14th and I really want to lose about 20 pounds before but I go. I am going to curves 3 days a week and plan on joining Weight Watchers next week but, I sometimes feel that I'm gonna fail and so I almost want to give up. I remember looking at the pictures from the last trip (Feb 06) and I remember feeling so ugly and fat in all the pic's except for maybe 2 out of the 100's that I took  and I don't want to feel this way this time. I've always been told by my family that I would be beautiful if I lost the weight :sad1: and my hubby of course tells me I'm beautiful all the time but sometimes I don't belive him. :confused3 I really need any tips anyone has to keep me motivated to lose this weight. Thank you for your help :thanks:

Love, I am here to support you fully. Going to curves three day a week is a great way to start you diet. Weight watchers is also a great diet starter if you only have the 3 main meals and one snack a day. I am no expert here at weight loss or diet tips but I would suggest going to the monthly exercise challenges and and put in a reasonable amount of minutes to work out that month. It is really inspiring me to work out. Also I would suggest to look at some of the meals here because I have trid some and they are GREAT! My family and I loved them so much. But continue with your diet and even if you lose only 10 pounds but keep on your diet the whole time then I know that you and your family will be proud of you. Even the slighest amount of weight loss is better than no weight loss. I hope this helps. :)

Hey there. I too just went to WDW this past Feb. We're going in October (26 days) and I've been showing DS4 our trip pics and seeing how fat I looked. I HATE them. I just posted a journal today about No more Fat Pictures! So I feel your pain.

I went back to Jenny Craig last night too (lifetime member). The important thing to remember is you are not going to be perfect everyday on the plan. I recall having times when I did poorly and craved McD the day before a weigh in and relaly wanted to not go to that check-in. But I did I really enjoyed it. It felt good to confess what I had done but they always made me feel good about the other positives I did for that week too. SO if you do join make sure to keep going even if you think you were bad.

Good luck and you can do it.

I know you're beautiful too..even with the 'extra weight'.

That's so funny, I just got done reading your post then saw that I had a reply on mine and checked it and it was you. I just posted a new journal yesterday called "NO MORE EXCUSES FOR BEING OVER WEIGHT. I'm getting closer to my December trip and want to start the weight loss even though I know that I have way more to lose then just 20lbs but it's a start I guess. I did really well today and didn't do bad. I went just 3 points over my points limit. but I did go to curves!!!!! I know how hard it is and I'm bound and determined to lose this weight not for my family, but for me this time.
