New to car rental reservations. Please help

I just reserved a full size car through National with DC and coupon. The quote I got was for 10 days, full size car and came to a total of $198.12. I thought that was great and immediately went to confirm it. When my confirmation number came up it shows a total estimate of -$4.20. In other words National is going to pay me to rent their car. I know that is not possible. However, I printed my confirmation sheet, and am wondering what price am I going to have to pay. Since the confirmation has a negative number, does that mean they won't have a car for me, or they will charge me whatever price they want, or will they honor their quote for $-4.20. Please help, I have never rented a car before, and need some advice. Thanks.

Hi,

although I do not have an answer for you, I'd suggest calling their 800# and explain you're situation. They should be able to pull up the confirmation # and tell you what's happened...hope you get that rate! good luck!
