Hi Everyone!
I am soooo excited for our first trip to WDW! We have been to Disneyland in Cali numerous times as we are formerly inhabitants of the west coast, but we are now east coasters and I just booked our first trip! I called the reservation line and asked really really sweetly if there was a AAA discount for our 10 nights in April and she gave it to me! Yay.
Here is my question: when starting this little booking journey I called FW directly and asked how many tents could be up at the site, she said 2. I asked including a screen tent for your kitchen? (A bit incrediously perhaps, but I wanted to be clear). She said yes, your main tent and then one more, be it a screen or otherwise. Then when I called the reservation line she specifically asked how many tents I would be having because more than 2 requires 2 sites. I said........2! LOL! In reality, I think we are looking at 3 PLUS a screen tent for our fridge, stove, etc. We have 3 adults and 3 kids total. Are there some kind of tent police that come by and say take your extra tents down? Or should we be fine?
We are super excited. I only booked the site because I think I can save $60 by booking tickets thru an online discounter. I figured they don't give a AAA discount on the passes anyway, so worst case scenario, I go back to the WDW website and buy them later. It isn't much, but when you are paying almost $1900 for tickets, I figure save where you can and $60 is $60! I'm a camper....I like to save money! I asked the reservationist if she had a site assignment and she said no. If we wanted to request a place could we? I don't know that I really care all that much having never been there, I don't really know what I'd prefer. But I think I'd prefer the more private, serene areas than to be closer to the hustle and bustle, can I request that? My mother is joining us and she will have an ECV, and the rest of us can hoof it with no problem.
Anyway, now I'm just babbling because I am mega excited! Any thoughts on the tent limit would be awesome.
Thanks!
