The things that will happen at the GF is your cake cutting, toast and your first dance. If you are having the extra guests you will have to purchase an extra bottle of champagne at $65 a bottle OR you may want to opt to exchange your one bottle of champagne for two bottles of sparkling cider. (this is what we did since we are not big drinkers and i have a sister who will be there and is under 21) They don't come out and tell you this option, but it can be done.
Also, your daughter will be counted as one of the extra 5 guests, but you will not have to pay the extra $100 for her. I beleive it is any guest under the age of 10. (i'll check on this and get back to you. I'm pretty sure the age limit is ten, but it might be three)
I would sugest hosting a dinner at the GF somewhere. Your cake cutting will already be there, so why not have everyone just stick around the same resort. You may skip the reception that Disney gives you and just have your cake delivered to the spot where your dinner is going to be. What time will your ceremony be? you may have a hard time finding a place to serve lunch, and dinner at most resort starts at 5:00, except at 1900 park fare which starts at 4:30pm. your daughter may like this option. It is a dinner buffet called Cinderella's royal gala. Who better to have dinner with on your wedding day than Cinderella and Prince charming! Also since it is a buffet it is very reasonably priced, (around $26 per person).
On the other hand, no one says you HAVE to have a dinner reception afterwards. I think if you stick with the traditional cake cutting and champagne toast you will be fine. The only reason we are having a dinner after our intimate is because we have more guests that will be celebrating with us afterwards that wont be able to attend the actual reception.
Congrats, good luck, and I hope I didn't confuse you even more !
